I’m always on guard to capture the elusive moment that is only in the world for a split second. While waiting to be ushered into the dining hall, I was “shooting from the hip” literally. I didn’t want people to see that I was taking random photos. All but one came out blurry and throw-a-ways. But this shot tells me that even thought I didn’t consciously know what was going on, and following my instincts will always steer me in the right direction.
